What significant advantages do our CNC solutions offer for gloss turning of rims?
Partial areas of a rim can be over-torqued more than other areas of the same rim! (Example: If the rim flange is damaged to a depth of 0.1 mm, the entire rim does not have to be turned over by 0.1 mm)
Mounting via the inner rim flange with 3 or optional 6 jaw chuck prevents vibrations during gloss turning and thus leads to an optimal surface result!
Contour database: Each rim type only needs to be recorded once!
Rotary image and level of gloss are infinitely adjustable through spindle speed and feed! Optimum rotation pattern possible even at low speeds (300 rpm) (maximum spindle speed 2,000 rpm)!
Processing of “deep center rims” possible!
High surface quality is also ensured by wet processing with an emulsion specially developed for gloss turning of rims!
FROM THE WHEEL PROFESSIONAL
Compare our solutions with other solutions on the market!
Our solution was initially developed for your own use and processing of light alloy wheels. All the know-how from 20 years of wheel processing has been incorporated. Only through the result and the resulting demand did our solution go into sales at the same time.
Continuous development
Through daily use in our own repair shop and in the processing of new wheels, new ideas are constantly emerging; these are immediately incorporated into development and implemented promptly.
Would you like to get an idea of our CNC wheel processing machines for yourself?
We would be happy to invite you to a demonstration in our company and convince you of our complete CNC solution!
Benefit from our many years of experience in the
Wheel machining and CNC machine development
In order to be able to carry out CNC machining of light alloy rims with a first-class result, you need – in addition to a professional CNC machine – personnel who learn how to use the CNC machine perfectly and who have the know-how for the use of CNC for wheel processing.
The MAINHATTAN-WHEELS team attaches great importance to CNC training and the associated knowledge transfer. In our opinion, delivering one of our machines is only “half the battle”. The transfer of know-how is at least as important and only training including training, taking into account all the special features and tricks, leads to our customers mastering their craft perfectly. However, no special prior knowledge is required. Our experience over the last few years has shown that every training participant is able to achieve perfect results at the end of the training. We guarantee that!
Training / Training G1
On the first day of the training, you will learn the basic operation of our CNC machine and how to correctly capture rim contours. We will then go into how to use the software for contour optimization. This is followed by practical CNC training.
Training / Training G2
The second day of our training begins with learning how to use the CNC machine to process damaged alloy wheels. As you proceed, you will become familiar with the function of “uneven over-tightening” of more severely damaged alloy wheels. Their application is then practiced in practice.
Training / Training G3
During the third day of training for our CNC machines for gloss turning of rims, you will be taught in detail how to machine “deep center rims”. This is followed by practical in-depth training in which all the content taught is repeated.
For us, the transfer of knowledge does not end with the training in operating the CNC machine.
There is much more to CNC rim machining!
We therefore also address the topics that are directly related to CNC machining. These include, for example:
wheel acceptance (calculation, concentricity check, identification of problematic cases)
the treatment before and after CNC machining (cleaning techniques, coating techniques, etc.)
special processing (“multi-colored” CNC processing, processing of multi-parts, drop center rims, etc.)
