AFM DEFUM BACA R 1000 CNC vertical machining center produced in 2016 in Poland is used for precision workpiece machining. Wide machining capabilities, high productivity and an extremely stable design with reliable components make the machine ideal for both series and unit production.
In order to achieve the highest precision in the machining process, the spindle unit uses high-accuracy bearings and backlash-free reciprocating screw gears for the X,Y,Z axis feeds. Both spindle rotational speed and work feeds are programmed and controlled steplessly in the perfectly optimised SIEMENS CNC controller. In addition, the controller has many useful functions that maximise machining productivity and allow the full potential of the BACA R1000 CNC machining center to be exploited.
The BACA R 1000 milling center also has a wide range of equipment, including a 20-position drum magazine with tool change via an intermediate catcher, cooling through the spindle and RENISHAW tool measuring probes. The total weight of the machine is 4000 kg.
