Die Cut Splitting Skiving Machine for Foam pads
Y.O.M : 2018 with very low hours!
Splitting/Skiving Machine for Foam Pads
· Constructed for cross-link foam production for microcell products.
· The frame structure consists of precision machined sections that can be adjusted according to the types of foam being processed.
· Contains head lifting/lowering modifications to allow synchronized horizontal transport die lifting/lowering. Modifications allow 1/1000” up to 6″ plus OD dies to fit into the system.
· Equipped with a set of carbide blade pushers for the blade advancing of main jaw steels and grinder jaw steels.
· Equipped with a manual option which is an important accuracy system for splitting. Also included is blade advancing and sharpening attachments, to detect a correct and accurate blade location.
· Equipped with five motors and three gear reduction units including the feed die / transport rollers. The drive motor is a 7.5 – 10 H.P and the two emery wheels for the blade sharpening are driven individually by a 1 HP motor.
· Equipped with variable speed drive for the transport dies. Transport die roller drive system is controlled thru a motor, frequency drive system, gear reduction and universal shafts which synchronizes the two die rollers as required. Design consists two (2) gear reducers with a 5 HP motor.
· Die Roller Output Speeds offer production speeds of 45 feet per minute.
· Equipped with reduction drive for the drive wheel/band knife and transport rolls so an exact cutting speed is always maintained.
· Equipped with safety stops for bottom die roller and top roller in the downward or upward mode, preventing potential damage to the rollers.
· Machine includes a graduated scale to read adjustments.
· Machine has a push-bottom programmer for responding to different splitting requirements and controls the devices for product feed speed, roller assembly setting, splitting drive is through a flywheel by means of an electric motor and reducer, and automatic splitting position control device coupled to automatic grinding wheel feed device.
· Equipped with an electric switch panel mounted at the front left side for quick/easy access for operator. Also, equipped with safety palm switches located at the front and back side of the machine.
· Equipped with out-feed steel table for transport of foam materials through the splitting point.
· Equipped with top/bottom transport rollers driven by independent gear reducers, with reversing mode being equipped for transport die gear reducers.
· Shipping weight, fully assembled, is 6000 lbs.
· Equipped a Feed-in materials table that has protection guard along with an OSHA approved emergency/e-stop pull cord.
· Equipped with automatic band knife advance feature; as the band knife is consumed from a continuous grinding process, it advances simultaneously to maintain an exact position in relation to the roll centers. During splitting production, this automatic feature reduces operator adjustment involvement.
· Equipped with chilson attachment that works with the band knife automatic advancing system to synchronize the main jaw blade pushers, with the grinder jaw pushers. The chilson attachment also eliminates the necessity of using the wheel flange, to maintain blade positioning.
· Equipped with a product chute.
· Equipped with Dust collection system.
· Equipped with Band knife; Band knife replacement requires 45 min. To 1 hour when needed.
