The CLOOS ROMAT 410 welding robot was manufactured in 2007 in Germany. Purpose-built for tough industrial applications, the machine is highly reliable and modular in design for low operating costs and efficient operation in all positions.
The welding cell is equipped with an industrial robot whose arm with a range of 2500 mm cooperates with two rotators, significantly accelerating the welding process. The use of two turntables with a lifting capacity of 1000 kg each allows for the simultaneous operation of the robot and the operator – when the robot is welding on one turntable, the operator can at the same time assemble or disassemble welded products on the other.
The machine is equipped with dynamic AC servo drives, guaranteeing a lifting capacity of up to 10 kg, and modern compact gears, thanks to which high repeatability of ± 0.1 mm is achieved. The welding station was previously used to weld structures up to 80 kg using the MAG (135) method.
