EAGLE eVision 1530 F3.0 AF fiber laser was manufactured in 2012 in Poland. The machine used in the cutting process of workpieces made of structural steel, stainless steel, aluminium and copper, guarantees the user excellent dimensional and shape precision during the cutting process. The low cutting edge and small heat-affected zone ensure that the geometry of the workpiece does not change during processing at the edges of the material.
The EAGLE fibre laser uses the energy-efficient and trouble-free IPG YLS-3000 laser source to supply the PRECITEC cutting head with a high-quality 3 kW laser beam. The cutting head is equipped with overload and collision protection, which automatically shuts down all machine axis drives if a collision with the workpiece is detected. Thanks to the special head positioning system (HRS), a constant distance is maintained between the head and the sheet metal, even if the workpiece is uneven or bends during cutting.
To ensure high dynamics and positioning accuracy over the entire lifetime of the laser cutting machine, all machine axes are equipped with magnetic linear drives from BECKHOFF. With their assistance, the workpiece is machined in the X,Y,Z axes on a large table with a length of 3000 mm and a width of 1500 mm with an automatic pallet changer for rapid loading and unloading of metal sheets without interrupting the cutting process. The DONALDSON TORIT DCE multi-chamber extraction system effectively removes the generated contamination by opening the nearest chamber within the laser beam cutting area.
The laser also incorporates a number of other useful features and systems. One of these is the control system with PC software (SCH), which performs an analysis of the entire cutting process before starting the programme and optimises the Z-axis movement of the cutting head for the best possible positioning of the machine and the most efficient cutting. The high-speed cutting head movement function (FA) controls the positioning of the head and allows very fast downward movements, thereby significantly increasing machining productivity.
The EAGLE eVision 1530 F3 laser cutting machine is also equipped with light curtains and a BECKHOFF CNC control with a special ‘trim’ function to cut individual parts from an existing programme anywhere on the sheet without the need for reprogramming. The EAGLE fibre laser weighs 23300 kg.
