OF ANY RATIO UP TO 10:1. WITH 1.08 DP (MODULE 23.5) CUTTING CAPABILITY.
THE EXTREME VERSATILITY OF THIS MACHINE PERMITS THE GEAR MANUFACTURER TO SELECT THE
MOST EFFICIENT CUTTING METHOD FOR ANY LOT SIZE OF GEARS IN HEAVY DUTY APPLICATIONS, SUCH AS
TRUCKS, BUSES, TRACTORS, INDUSTRIAL MACHINERY, OFF-ROAD EQUIPMENT, AND MARINE DRIVES.
THE 640 GLEASON MACHINE CAN COMPLETE ANY SPIRAL BEVEL GEAR OR
PINION WITHIN THE MACHINE RANGE IN ONE 360 DEGREE REVOLUTION OF THE BLANK. THIS REQUIRES ONLY ONE SETUP,
ONE CHUCKING, AND ONE CUTTER TO PRODUCE A PART. IN ADDITION TO COMPLETING, THE MACHINE USES
RSR CUTTERS, AND ALL OTHER GLEASON CUTTING METHODS. FORMATE
GEAR MEMBERS CAN BE CUT, AND MATING PINIONS GENERATED TO MATCH THEM.
