HERMLE C30 MACHINING CENTER
Modified gantry design with the following special characteristics:

Design features:
– 3 axes in a tool and therefore dynamics independent from the workpiece
– Drives and guideways are outside of the working area – Compact structure, thus minimum space requirement – Optimized static and dynamic properties
– High running, positioning and long-term accuracy
– High dynamics during the machining process

– Optimum surface finish in combination with very narrow tolerances

– Collision protection with collision prompting at 10,000/18,000 rpm

Special voltages and frequencies on request! Connection conditions:
The HERMLE milling machines are equipped with a frequency-controlled converter system. They may only be connected to grounded mains
TN-S and TN-C (VDE 0100 Part 300) at a nominal voltage
3 AC 400 V.
In case of other mains voltages, an autotransformer can be connected upstream. If the network structure deviates from the previously described TN-S and TN-C, an isolating transformer with star point
on the secondary side must be provided.
System short-circuit capacity:
The converters are adapted to sine current operation. The
system short-circuit capacity (SK network) at the connecting point of the machine must conform to the following specifications:

During every tool change the tool cone is cleaned automatically by compressed air.
Balancing qualities
It is mandatory that tools and tool holding fixtures are balanced according to latest state of the art technology.
The balancing qualities (according to DIN/ISO 1940) that are necessary and reasonable need to be determined from case to case, since they are influenced by the spindle speed and the tool weight.
