KIMLA POWERCUT LF 1530 fiber laser was built in 2021. The reliable machine, built on a rigid monolithic body, uses advanced fibre technology to cut workpieces with a maximum weight of 900 kg. The 4 kW high-quality fibre optic beam fed directly to the cutting head expands the machining possibilities and guarantees the user very smooth and even edges.
The high-quality steel work table with precise mechanical locking stiffens the pallet during cutting, ensuring that the workpiece remains stationary and secure while cutting in the X, Y and Z axes. In order to ensure that the cutting process is uninterrupted, the KIMLA laser cutting machine is also equipped with an automatic pallet changing system which allows workpieces to be loaded and unloaded at the same time, without interrupting the production process.
The POWERCUT LF 1530 fibre laser cutting machine is operated via an interactive control system comprising CAD/CAM software and a KIMLA CNC controller. This solution fully exploits the potential inherent in the machine and allows for extremely fast and dynamic operation with high accuracy, even at high cutting speeds. High-performance drives based on real-time data transmission technology make it possible to send parameters such as position, speed, acceleration and yaw rate directly to the servo drives. Innovative software also makes it possible to edit, correct geometry changes, layout, generate paths and continue working at any time during the production process.
The KIMLA POWERCUT LF 1530 4 kW FIBER laser also has extensive equipment, including an integrated system for cutting circular and rectangular profiles, RENISHAW measuring scales and a DONALDSON TORIT DCE multi-chamber extraction system. The laser without additional devices weighs 8700 kg.
