SIEMENS – CNC-Control Model 840 D is a further developed CNC version and software is
designed specifically for the gear manufacturing. The WINDOWS based Operator interface is
extremely operator friendly, and shows also error diagnostics in order to insure a high
production rate. Equipped with various grinding programs.

A completely new grinding concept allows the use of CBN grinding worms and CBN grinding discs
on the same Grinding tool, therefore two two grinding methods can be utilized:
a. Generating grinding method using worm wheels ( for mass production)
b. Profile Grinding for high precision machining of small to medium batch production
c. Combination of both methods = roughing by using the grinding worm and finishing
using the profile disk insures highest accuracy.
