Process monitoring (4-spindle)
Tool breakage monitoring for each spindle
Takes place by querying the torque of the main spindle and query the Z-axis load (drilling feed)
Coolant pressure control
Monitors the coolant pressure during the drilling process, in the event of a chip jam or if there is a lack of coolant, the drilling process will be in accordance with the specified limit values interrupted to avoid damage to the tool and/or workpiece. Torque and coolant pressure can be viewed on the process monitoring screen be presented and evaluated. If the specified limit values are exceeded, the drilling process is automatically interrupted.
Workpiece clamping
• consisting of 4 chucks on a base plate
• the clamping device moves in the W axis for workpiece assembly, the clamping takes place
in the chuck, then back into the drill bush
• The clamping is initiated via a clamping unit by installed plate spring packages
• the clamping can be released hydraulically
Workpiece details
• Preparation for valves with bore from stem to disc
