WALDRICH COBURG 17S-10 FP 300 NC gantry milling machine built in 1989 in Germany is used for machining oversized workpieces, as well as many smaller workpieces at the same time. The machine equipped with a stable work table and indestructible components, allows for performing tasks such as milling, drilling and threading with the utmost precision, guaranteeing maximum process optimisation in a wide range of industries.
Workpieces with a maximum weight of 60 tonnes are machined in five axes (X,Y,Z,W,C) using tools taken from a chain magazine located on the left side of the machine. This process is fully automated thanks to the special systems in the magazine responsible for automatic tool change and clamping. The WALDRICH COBURG CNC gantry milling machine is also equipped with a reliable spindle, additional angle milling heads (2 rotary heads, 1 Fork type head) and an intuitive SIEMENS SINUMERIK 840 C CNC controller. The CNC machining centre 17S-10 FP 300 NC weighs approximately 150 t.
